This Darkseeker was the mate of an alpha male, and was captured by Robert Neville for his experiments.
Biography
Nothing is known about the alpha female's life before the outbreak of the Krippin Virus.
When KV broke out, the female was infected and turned into a Darkseeker.
She became the mate of a male Darkseeker that was the alpha of a Darkseeker colony living in the derelict Manhattan.
In 2012, three years after the KV outbreak, she was lured out of the colony by a blood sample, and into a snare trap by Neville.
Neville then took the female back to his lab, where he tested Compound 6 on her as a possible cure for KV. She eventually awoke and tried to attack Robert but was held back by chain shackles on her arms, however, the serum instead almost killed the female until she was revived by Neville.
The female and the alpha reunited
When the Darkseekers chased Neville, Anna and Ethan into the basement, Neville realized that the alpha male wanted the female back. Neville removed the serum from the female's blood and allowed her to reunite with her mate. The Darkseekers then left peacefully.
